Proposed Law to Kill Second Amendment

TAKE ACTION! This new tax would do nothing to stop criminals from using guns to commit crime.

In an effort to kill the Second Amendment through taxation, U.S. Rep. Carolyn Maloney has proposed two anti-second amendment bills.  The first Firearm Industry Crime and Trafficking Accountability Act would require every firearm manufacturer to create a monitoring system to track crimes committed with guns they have sold, using ATF gun trace data.  This impossible task is designed to create such a financial burden on gun manufacturers that many would go out of business.

The Firearm Industry Fairness Act which would impose a 20% tax on the total revenue for manufacturers who make "assault weapons" and high-capacity magazines.  This new tax would do nothing to stop criminals from using guns to commit crime, but it would increase the cost of purchasing a firearm for law-abiding citizens.
